She worked as a nurse in oncology and geriatric settings. She has a PhD in Nursing and Public Health and a post graduate specialization diploma in Management. She has experience in evidence-based synthesis and qualitative research.

Her main research areas concern palliative care, public health, simulation in nursing education, virtual reality and artificial intelligence.
