She has a PhD in Public Health and Biostatistics, during which she worked on health data from administrative sources. She currently deals with designing, conducting and analysing epidemiological studies in the pediatric, nursing and mental health fields.
She has experience in applying statistical models to public health and health systems issues, and in conducting systematic reviews and meta-analyses.
She is responsible for several research projects at national and international level. She follows the development and statistical management of the Italian register of pediatric Intensive Care Units and is part of the Italian team of the Health behavior in school-aged children (HBSC) project, a World Health Organization project that involves an international collaboration on adolescents’ well-being.
