She has a PhD, is vice-president of the Nursing Degree and Director of the post graduate specialization diploma in “Family and Community Nursing”. She has twenty-years experience in training and mentoring nursing students.

Her lines of research and teaching concern public health and community nursing, chronic care and nursing care.
